London Bridge International Nursery School

London Bridge, Kumamoto's oldest international school, opened this childcare facility under the jurisdiction of the Children and Families Agency in 2021.

As an international school nursery school, we are able to offer both high-quality childcare services and high-level English education. Immersion style English education is possible from the age of 0.

We are a nursery school for 0, 1, and 2 year olds, that builds on the know-how and experience we have cultivated over the years and our excellent track record in English childcare.

The newly built school building is equipped with a spacious garden and a dining room, allowing children to develop their mind, body, and spirit in a relaxed manner. There is plenty of opportunity for learning and play tailored to the age and maturity of each student, allowing our children to learn English in a fun and natural way.

It is open 365 days a year and has a dedicated room for sick and recovering children, with a staff of two (a nurse and a nursery teacher) capable of caring for one sick child. There is no need to take time off from work every time your child becomes ill. We support working moms and dads.

The Nursery School is available to affiliated company employees, London Bridge staff and local children.

※　Students may transfer to London Bridge International Kindergarten at the start of a school year if a place is reserved.
※　Children can enter the nursery school from 4 months old.

Graduates from London Bridge have gone on to private schools outside the prefecture, including Kumamoto University affiliated elementary and junior high schools. In addition, many of our students have passed the University of Tokyo entrance exam and have gone on to university medical schools. Students utilize the English education provided at London Bridge to help with their child's career path. The Nursery is their first step at London Bridge.

From the age of 0, children are brought up in an environment where English is used not only as a study but also in daily life, as they live in a kindergarten with native speakers and nursery teachers. In addition to improving English skills, we also cultivate children's natural curiosity through a variety of fun activities, experiences, events, and more.

In addition, as it is a childcare facility under the jurisdiction of the Children and Families Agency, it has a wide range of services, and is open from 7 am to 8 pm, and can be used on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, making it possible for even those who work full-time to attend. We have a room for sick and convalescent children (free of charge), so even if your child becomes suddenly ill, there is no need to take time off. The nurse and childcare worker who are stationed at the nursery school can take care of your child. Another attractive feature is that you can get priority admission to London Bridge International School, our main school, after graduating from a nursery class .
